1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device to enhance website functionality and user experience.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- Ensure proper website functioning
- Remember user preferences
- Analyze website traffic and performance
- Improve content and usability
3. Types of cookies used
Essential cookies
Required for basic website functionality. Cannot be disabled.
Performance cookies
Help us understand how the website is used. We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) for this; see "Analytics and advertising measurement" below.
Advertising measurement cookies
Help us see which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring visitors who go on to book a demo. We use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) for this; see below.
Functional cookies
Store user preferences and session information.
4. Analytics and advertising measurement
Our website, www.industryprime.com, loads two third-party tools. The mobile apps do not use them.
- Google Analytics 4 sets the
_gaand_ga_<id>cookies, which hold a random identifier for your browser. It records the pages you visit, roughly where you are (country and city, worked out from your IP address), your device and browser type, and how you reached the site. - Meta Pixel sets the
_fbpcookie (and_fbcwhen you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad), which hold a random identifier for your browser. It records the pages you visit and sends Meta your IP address and browser details, so Meta can match the visit to an ad shown on Facebook or Instagram.
Beyond page visits, the website records these actions as events:
- A click on a Book a demo button
- A click on a WhatsApp button
- A demo request that was sent successfully
- How far down the homepage you scrolled (25%, 50%, 75% and 90%)
Each of these events carries only the page address, which button was used, and, for a demo request, the options you picked from the form's lists (such as how you heard about us). Google Analytics also records some standard events on its own: page views, scrolls, clicks on links to other websites, form starts and submissions, and file downloads.
The events we send carry no name, phone number, email address or anything you type. The Meta Pixel's automatic events, which read buttons and page details on their own, are switched off in the pixel's code on our website, and its automatic form matching (Automatic Advanced Matching) is switched off in our Meta settings, so the pixel does not read the demo form's fields. The details of a demo request go to our team by email and to our sales tools, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Other storage and third-party content
- Session storage. The website keeps one item in your browser's session storage that remembers which Book a demo button you clicked, so a demo request can show which button brought you to the form. It holds no personal data, and is cleared when you close the tab or after you send a demo request.
- Bot check. The demo request form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Turnstile sees your IP address and signals from your browser.
- Videos. Customer videos are played from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click play.
5. Managing cookies
You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may impact website performance.
Deleting cookies does not opt you out: the analytics and advertising cookies are set again on your next visit. To opt out of the tools above, use one of these:
- Block third-party or analytics cookies in your browser's privacy settings, or block cookies for www.industryprime.com.
- Use a tracker-blocking browser extension. Most content and ad blockers stop both tools from loading. The website works the same without them.
- Google Analytics: install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Meta: for data Meta already holds about your visits to other websites, use the off-Facebook activity controls (Your activity off Meta technologies) in your Facebook or Instagram account settings. You can also turn off ads based on activity from other websites under Ad preferences in your Meta account.
